At the center of what we do very well here at St. Stephen’s, Church Life is the life-blood of who we are. Through Church Life we provide an opportunity for folks to participate in planning and carrying-out social activities that encourage church members to share in Christian fellowship. Whether it is a breakfast on Sunday mornings, potluck luncheon following church services, the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, Foyer Groups, the end of the year cookout, Low Country Boil, or a barbeque fundraiser, St. Stephen’s knows how to gather well! It is in our gatherings that Christ is present and the Holy Spirit is moving in and through us. In sharing a meal with another, we are living into real Christian fellowship. In many ways, our Church Life events are symbolic of our gathering around the Holy table (the altar) as we partake of the heavenly food and remember what God has done for us.
